Pembangunan varieti baharu berhasil tinggi, berkualiti dan rintang terhadap serangga perosak dan penyakit utama bagi tanaman industri (kelapa, jagung bijian, ubian, kopi, herba dan lain-lain).
Pembangunan sistem pengeluaran tanaman industri dengan penggunaan input optimum bagi peningkatan produktiviti dan kualiti hasil secara efisien, kos efektif dan berskala besar.
Pengurusan perosak dan penyakit utama tanaman industri secara berkesan, kos efektif, mesra alam dan lestari.
Pembangunan pakej pengendalian lepas tuai tanaman industri yang efisien dan kos efektif bagi mengurangkan kehilangan hasil, mengekalkan kualiti dan memanjangkan hayat simpanan.
